“Amazing food and wonderful service!” “They source their food from local farmers and the service was very friendly!” “A breakfast paradise!” “I could eat here every day!” These are just a few reviews for a long-time staple in our community – The Little Grill Collective.
The Little Grill has been an anchor on the north side of Harrisonburg since the 1940’s. Since 2003, the Little Grill has been worker-owned. They are a close-knit group of owners who care about each other and the community they serve.
Specializing in breakfast and lunch, the Grill uses local farmers whenever possible. They keep a large chalkboard listing all the local farms/businesses they use in their operation. Customers enjoy seasonal changes in their menu, depending on the produce in season. Menu items are made from scratch, and it makes a big difference!
With love and concern for the environment, this busy restaurant produces less than one bag of garbage a day. They do this through unique kitchen systems and composting most of their waste. Their take-out containers are bio-degradable to further their environmental concern.
What I love MOST about The Little Grill Collective is how I feel when I’m there.
I feel like I step out of the present and into a time machine – a kind of local café I used to go to in the early 70’s. Amazing food made from scratch, and a staff that makes you feel at home. I love being their insurance agent and I’ve enjoyed getting to know the great group of people who make up our local treasure, The Little Grill Collective.
