Customer Feature: Strite’s Donuts

A key to any relationship is communication. I’d like to highlight one of our customers where communication has been critical.
Carl Strite is the brains and the workhorse behind the incredible Strite’s Donuts, a local treasure.
I’m not sure what makes his donuts so delicious – maybe it’s just pure MAGIC.
I met Carl soon after joining the MAX team in 2013. We sat down together a number of times to get his coverage just as he needed at the time. Since then, his donut business has gone through lots of changes, and we periodically are adjusting his policy to keep up with his current needs. As we’ve worked through these years and changes together, we have become good friends. Carl has a giving heart and he inspires me to help others all I can. Two of my grandsons enjoyed watching the donut master at work in his donut trailer, and then enjoyed a very fresh, warm donut when the batch was done.
You can see the Strite Donut trailer mostly at Jake’s Convenience Store on Churchville Rd in Staunton. On Thursdays and Fridays his donuts are delivered to Greenberry’s Coffee Shop in Harrisonburg. The trailer pops up in different locations now and then as well. But wherever you see the Strite’s Donuts trailer, stop a minute and say hello to a great guy, and pick up the best donut you’ve ever had. Pure magic.
